The "Evinrude ® Diagnostics Software Program" communicates with the Engine Control Unit ("ECU") and the Engine Management Module ("EMM") and is used for retrieving engine diagnostic information, setting engine operating parameters, performing engine maintenance and printing engine reports on Evinrude ® Direct Injection or "DI" engines and Evinrude ® E-TEC ® series engines.

I purchased the Evinrude Diagnostic kit last summer [2024] when I acquired my 200 hp Etec. I had a fuel injector fail early this summer. This kit allowed me to diagnose & test the failed injector, and program the the new one with the coefficients downloaded from PowerSportsdiag.com. well worth the money. I

With this tool, i was able to diagnose the overheating issues on my 225 Evinrude etec Gen 1. It’s nice to have data on your engine and being able to read any fault codes. The program is very easy to use. I love it!

I purchased this last year because our dealer repair times were out 4-6 weeks. After a medical issue sidelined me for almost a year I finally spent the time to learn how to use this. This kit and software was a lifesaver when my e-tec started having injector issues but with no dealer in site. Good insight and a bit of DIY to fix the problem while saving costs at the same time is a win-win.

Great for trouble shooting to bring up faults in your engine or checking out an outboard you want to buy. down load software with stick easy. Click accept and then connect. To get into EMM you will need the bootstrap which didn't realize but not sure if i need right now.
It's nice to have data on your engine and being able to ready any fault codes. The program is very easy to use and operate.

Ordered this for my recently purchased used 2009 E-TEC 115hp, the tool arrived in 3 days, hooked it up and got a full diagnostic report on my motor. I mainly wanted to know how many hours were on it and what the oil setting was set to. Worked like a charm. Clear instructions.
