Is licence key which allows you to work on any BRP product, Seadoo, Skidoo, CanAm ATV, SSV, Spyder, Rykers and various boats with ROTAX (Scarab, Chaparral , Glastron, Williams,...) engine are all covered with one key.
MEGATECH/MECHATRONIC EXPERT
Megatech/Mechatronic Expert key is an advanced key which opens up many features not available to the ordinary dealer!! , changing VIN numbers , disabling DESS theft systems and advanced diagnostics are just some of the things megatech opens that BRP don't want the ordinary dealer messing with!!
Megatech/Mechatronic Expert will also allow timing curve and rev limiter changes on some 2 stroke models.

BRP 4-TEC Desspost unit
Designed for add/erase DESS keys for 4-TEC models of SeaDoo and Skidoo vehicles.
Works only in conjunction with the MPI-2 and MPI-3 Interfaces
This device is connected between the MPI Interface and the diagnostic cable and is used only for procedures with DESS keys.
BRP Power Interface unit
BRP strongly recommends the use of the power interface and power supply cables to stabilize the unit voltage when using BUDS & BUDS2 during software updates.
The power interface and power supply cable allows the connection of a fully charged external battery to provide stable voltage to the unit and BUDS / BUDS2. Stable voltage is essential to prevent update crashes
The power interface and power supply cable connected to external battery can be used for extended diagnostic time
The power interface with or without the power supply cable will keep the unit powered even if the ignition switch is turned off or the DESS key is removed
The power interface has a fuse protected voltmeter included and an extra fuse to protect from polarity inversion of the power supply cable
It's neccasery for BRP vehicles without battery (electric starter)
